ParIT Financial System

The ParIT Financial System is a computerized financial accounting package, available on a single CD. It consists of :
  • Ubuntu - Operating System - Linux for Human Beings
  • GnuCash - Free Accounting Software
  • python bindings - access the GnuCash API via the python programming language

We offer this product through an annual subscription of $350. In return, you receive

  • A promise that we will fix any serious software flaws (bugs) that you discover, “If it breaks, we will fix it”
  • Semi-annual copies of our latest release on CD
  • Email notifications when we release additional software updates online
  • Access to our subscribers only mailing list
  • Four hours of related ParIT services: installation, training, support, software improvements

Freedom

The ParIT Financial System is free software. Everyone with a copy has the right to share and modify it. We encourage you to make copies of our discs;  we consider this to be your right and thank you for the free advertising . Our packages and source code are also availble to everyone through our Ubuntu 8.04 apt-repository.

The software continues to function normally if your subscription expires.

Advance access to future ParIT Financial System releases is available in our subversion repository.
